In this architectural photography competition, we challenge you to look beyond the obvious and capture the overlooked architecture that deserves more attention and appreciation. You might discover some surprising examples of architectural innovation, history, or beauty in unexpected places!

建築物除了可以是大眾所熟識的著名標誌外,它也塑造是我們城市中的日常生活空間,當中有不少隱藏的瑰寶和被遺忘的故事。

在本次建築攝影比賽中,我們向您發起挑戰,在著名建築和標誌背後,找出捕捉那些值得更多關注和欣賞,但卻常被大眾忽視的建築空間 。您將會在意想不到的地方發現一些令人驚訝的建築創意、歷史訊息或美景!

Open to Macau citizens holding a valid resident (permanent or non-permanent) identity card.

Submission Guidelines

  • Entries must be submitted online through the Google form shared on this website.
  • Entrants must submit a copy of their Macau ID and student ID (if applicable).
  • Image files must be high-resolution (more than 2 MB) and in JPEG or TIFF format.
  • Submitted files must be named as follows:
    No. of entry_name of participant_name of photo_location_date of photo
    (eg. 01_Adam Smith_Cultural Exchange_Ruins of St Paul_2021-10-01.JPG)

About CURB – Center for Architecture and Urbanism

CURB is an NGO established in Macau in 2014, to promote research, education, production and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of architecture, urbanism, design and urban culture. It stands as an exchange platform between academia, civil society, professional practice, and government institutions, serving the interests of the overall community.

CURB is a founding member of the Greater Bay Area Urban Designer Alliance, the organizer of Open House Macau, the first Open House event in Asia, and is an associate partner of the World Urban Campaign, organizing Urban Thinkers Campus in Macau.

建築與城市規劃中心 (CURB) 是一個於2014年在澳門成立的非政府機構,旨在為建築、城市規劃、設計和城市文化領域上促進研究、教育、生產和知識的傳播。它是學術界、公民社會、專業領域和政府機構之間的交流平台,為廣泛全面的社區利益而服務。

該中心舉辦並支持各項研究、研習班、會議、展覽、競賽和其他活動。 CURB在澳門組織和舉辦了亞洲首個遊屋記活動 (Open House Macau) ,也和世界城市運動 (World Urban Campaign) 合作,在澳門組織和舉辦了城市思想家校園 (Urban Thinkers Campus) 。
